ok well im upgrading...heres what i ordered already

AMD Athlon 64 3200+ 939 (venice)
Biostar TFORCE6100-939

those 2 things basically im gonna take my 1.5gb DDR400 and my drives and stuff from my current comp.

i need a video card..now im comming from a 9600pro 256mb agp 8x....i want a cheap card cause im gonna wait till the end of the year..so when vista comes out theres gonna be new stuff..

i really dont want to spend more than $100 USD on a new card for now...

so im thinking of this one.

X1300Pro 256mb - http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDe … ode=326832

any ideas..im open to either ati or nvidia whoever has the best bang for the buck...
thanks

go newegg...

I hate Zipzoom w/ a passion...

Also, Make sure that when you gte the 3200, that its the Venice chipset. The Winchester sucks balls(I have a winny).....Oh, and get a decent Zalman CPU fan, so you can do some overclocking....

Set a price point for these three parts, and ill give you my reccomendations...

Yaa, my advice would be either 6800XT or x1600Pro....the x1300 chipset isnt very good in my opinion...

I am not sure if this would be any better than what anyone else posted, but I personally recommend evga. Their supports is awesome.

Manafacturers make little odds.

But you'll see little improvement if you go up to the X1300.

What's your budget?

Don't get the X1300, its not gonna be worth the money.
Quick Info - It is a 256MB card and its 128-bit. Not too good. GOOD = 256MB thats 256-bit.
