what makes bf2 lagg the internet speed or ur prossesor speed or something else and if internet speed what do u guys have???

I'm on 2Mb Broadband, and don't get lag as a result of the internet. I think generally lag is a local thing, ie, you PC needing to access the HDD for a texture.
Everybody correct me if I'm wrong, but I think lag can also happen on a server if someone with a high ping connects and this affects everybody else.

Another thing is, server location.
If you live in europe and join "EA Singapore" or whatever, the lag would be unbearable and you would be auto kicked. (So not long to find and kill polarbearz )

i would be playing gamearena internode they are australian servers and i like internode and xtra

so wireless, why do you just wire it up, that might help a little bit.

I'm pretty sure that lag can be caused by the other people on the server. Obviously the whole thing has to accomodate everybody's data and if someone is really slowing the server down, you slow down too.

I can't I'm at work, connected through the company LAN.
it could be the servers you are trying to connect to, if you live in the uk and try to connect to japan your ping is too high and you get auto kicked

When doing a speed test, don't do anything else. It effects your results.
what is ur rpms for ur hd? if its 7200rpm then ur pc will lag.
