I have been lurking around for a while now but have finally decided to sign up.
If I could give you positive karma I would, but supposedly I have not posted enough to give karma.  I agree with you about the karma system.

Gah. People should respect other people's opinions. Some of the Conservative American crowd, (trying not to pick on that crowd, but this kind of thing does seem to erupt from a few select people within this group,) like saying things like your Karma comment no. 2 d3v1ldr1v3r13, which I think is strange. To me there is nothing more American than voicing one's opinions. Odd how those people seem to contradict themselves isn't it. Conservatives can be violent people.

Don't be scared to voice our opinions, people will always disagree with you. If they are immature enough to decide to hit back by taking one of your karma points, just remember that it dosn't matter anyway.

Only time I've ever left neg karma was when the poster was being an asshat and flaming someone for a legitimate opinion, attacking the person and not the idea.  Which is ultimately what these -1 cowards seem to be bent on.  Until there's a more important system based on it, it's just cool to look at.

I don't generally -1 people, even for opinions I strongly disagree with.  The most recent time I -1ed someone was a few days ago, he was saying BF2 is about money and promoting the "money-game".  I -1ed with a comment to the effect that it should be about skill not money, and signed my name.

I didn't sign originally, but do now.

My negative annonymous karma has now become a counter for all those who aren't intelligent enough to post counter arguement to my own.

I just got 3 negatives from little kids who didn't want to leave their names.

I've recieved a ton of negative karma from people who obviously don't like the military or the fact that I'm proud to be/ have been a Marine.

Strange when you think about it, people hating the military on a site dedicated to a game that depicts war and you play as a combatant.

Explain to me why the news station I watch matter that damn much to someone.  Come on man, you think -1 is going to change my mind and get me watching CNN?  Sorry guy, I watch CNN for one reason thats the Robin chick, and shes just a mega-hottie.  I am not asking for sympathy here, I just believe that if someone has an opinion, it should be disagreed with in debate, note the topic  "Debate and Serious Talk".  I admit, if someone disagrees with me, it dosent change the fact that I respect them as a human being, I am just really harsh in my debate, no one should take it personal.  Ron White said he got kicked off the debate team for saying "Yeah well Fuck you!", its funny then, its really funny that I really did that in school. 

In conclusion, I like everyone here, I respect you all, and you are all interesting people to talk to and interact with.  I enjoy BF2 alot, and I will keep shooting the positive Karma around especially if im getting it.  And yes despite what some say I read and respect all your opinions even if I dont express it.  Take what you will from this, and these are my two cents.
