Yes, more sniper rifles. Becuase BF2 has not nearly enough snipers. We need more snipers!

Gimme the M82A1 (replace M95 as M82 is MORE powerful and shoots through glass) as an unlock
they were but they still had their balls in their mouth during testingN)!(NDarkDragon wrote:

Look how old the 16 is. But yeah I'd take an FNC over an FAL, I'd just take an FAL to say I have one.Coolbeano wrote:
Five-seveN... I really don't like it, because it's so small and it feels like a toy because of the polymers and the studs.Cursed You wrote:
Five-seveN and SIG's 226.
Possibly FN FAL or FNC would be good. Kind of sticking to the G3 lines there.
XM8... its just a confused 36E. It looks nice, but I'd rather have a 550.
H&K 416 all the way. You know how I know its better? Cause its H&K, its being considered to take over the position of the M4. Tested and all that shit.
The FAL and/or FNC would be great, but the FAL is awfully old, it's been replaced in service. The XM8 is really just an americanized '36, confused, i don't know, if thats a synonym for american then sure. 550? Doubt they'd ever use that in full service and not just a tactical LE choice.
Until the HK417 is perfected, the SCAR series is favored by the US.
Give it time and 416/417 will replace the SCAR. SCAR is just a really poorly designed gun. Who needs vertical foregrip that far down the barrel? Good luck going prone with that bitch. Its detachable sure but why have it in the first place? If your girlfriend said "I came with a strap on", sure you can take it off, but why the hell was it there in the first place?
When I held the Five-seveN (wish I could have taken a picture but no cameras allowed at the gun show ) it felt a little more comfortable. I mean sure the studs make it feel kind of awkward, and the handle all together feels out of place, but its a 5.7x28mm round. Thats a honker of a bullet of course the clip is gonna be on the 'roids. Im pretty sure if it was brought to attention to FN they'd change it.
Besides you can just wear gloves
I'd really like to see a 550 though. Everyone looks over the fact that SIG makes some of the most reliable and butt pounding guns out there. Plus they look pretty leet :p
EDIT: To the guy who suggested Steyr AUG. Nah. The last thing this game needs is plastic lego bullpups.

I would like to see that Israeli assault rifle from future weapons. Anyone seen it, or remember what it's called?
Galil?

IMI Tavor TAR-21 assault rifle
Cool idea, but wouldn't go with any real army in BF2 right now.
All though an Isreali expansion would be kind of cool. Merkava tanks, Uzis, and PRGs. That would be really kind of nice.
I'd have to vote for the G-11, yes, it looks like a shoe box of death, but you can't go wrong with that!!!!
And a pistol unlock, nothing too fancy just ummmmm......the S&W 500.....

I believe you're referring to the IMI Tavor.Miller wrote:

I don't know squat about tanks, but an old friend of mine is a Lt. Colonel in the 1st Cav, and he doesn't think too highly of the Merkava; he claims they're just heavily reworked M-60s--tall silhouette, mediocre gun, middling armor, and rather slow. Galil are more-or-less just reworked AKs, though with better quality control. Uzis--despite the mythical status they gained in popular culture a couple of decades ago--are not a wepaon you'd want to use on targets more than 10 meters away; horribly inaccurate, even for an SMG. They're a spray-and-pray weapon, but you'd better be praying hard and for a long time--hell, you'd better have a rosary in each hand while you're firing.

xm8, the others kinda suck.
i would add the sr-25, the xm-29, a Galil, maybe a sig 550 or 552, or some steyr weapons

S&W 500, and The G-11, cool, we have the same taste.=JoD=Corithus wrote:

The USMC needs a semi-auto rifle so I'd say PSG-1. Otherwise I'd say UMP in place of the Mp7.
these all suck.
the ump owns
all of them would be good
the steyr's would be good, but the more options the better, unlock style
The Benelli M4 is a semi-Auto shotgun, I believe the pumper in BF2 is a Mk11 or something of the sort i forget. EuroForce, I dunno, I bought it but barely got a chance to play it. The Benelli M4 was a later add in cause I had a couple requests for it.ToXiC888 wrote:

None of the above: I want my old trusty STG 77
Well, the Galil will actually use AK parts, and the UZI isn't very accurate, but they both do something that more accurate weapon systems can't. Tolerate a lot of sand and grit. One of the tests for the Galil was to fill the entire barrel and action with fine sand, dump the sand out, rack the action a couple of times, insert a mag, and fire the weapon. I defy anyone to do that with a M16 or variant.Books_DCDF wrote:

It also might be a Merkava II that I was thinking of. The gun is mediocre, but the hull down silhouette is great for a pre-second gen tank.
I think they should have like new vehicle variations. Or weapon variations like I said earlier by alowing different experiences but with the same guns. Like you could swap the M246 SAW for like and FN MINIMI, basically a smaller, more compact version for very close CQB. Instead of an unlock it should be a swapable weapon for all people of all classes.
