Mini version???? You're joking right? .9mm? as in a fraction of a milimeter? And what's with all the subcompacts? Do you concealed carry or what?SEREMAKER wrote:

i got a gun in my pants whit unlimited white ammo
when I refer to ar-15 mini verision its the shorten barrel with collaspable stock if you worked with any specs. you would know that and for to ask a question like .9mm? for a ar-15 shows how much you know since they do design thoseJE3146 wrote:

What I was referring to is your lack of terminology by calling it a "mini."SEREMAKER wrote:

The model you describe is more commonly known as a "carbine" with a "collapsable stock."
I do know what 9mm means; I was questioning your knowledge of it because you wrote .9mm. As in combining metric and standard, which is obviously incorrect.

Spud gun. There is nothing funnier than shooting people with bits of potato!
I dont need an apology... my original statement was "Can't beleive someone would invest so much into firearms and not have a clue of what they actually own."SEREMAKER wrote:
when you call something "mini ar" for 4 years you get use to it - its a quick reference
and the putting a dot before 9mm I have read alot of manuals that do that but I guess I should apologize for my dumbassity on such a simple mistake
It's a hobby like cars. Every car enthusiest could tell you down to the last detail of every spec in their vehicle. It just blew me away that anyone could spend so much money and not be framiliar with that level of detail.
I'm at work and running on fumes right now, usually I'm better and give the grave details on my weapons, I even keep my log book with me ( its in my truck ) it has my entire history (since gettin out of the corps) of my guns, where I shot, the time, the temp, the range, how many rounds and most important my grouping - I have a good list of weapons and I keep it growing, hopefully by friday I will add 2 more to the list
and yeah I do have few subcompacts when I first got my concealed carry I went through a phase of getting subs but know I'm moving into competitive shooting and I need little more size then those subs offer me in competition

A superb Made in China plastic model of a semi-auto revolver with a nice safe orange cap so you don't accidentally poke your eyes out.
(Actually thats a lie, it belongs to my kids not me.)

If you get into IPSC or IDPA, get yourself just a stock Sig Sauer or a slightly bigger Glock.SEREMAKER wrote:

I'd reccomend either the P226 or the P229. Hi capacity, incredible accuracy, and a smooth trigger. It won't be anything racey like a high end 1911, but it wont jam like them either.
Either that or a Glock 17 or 19, or a Glock 22 or 23, depending on size(fullsize or medium) and whether or not you want 9mm or .40S&W.
I currently run IPSC SS Limited Class with a Sig P229 and love it. Been meaning to get into IDPA and "3-gun".. etc.. but I'm not that great with a shotgun.
Ruger 10/22...just a toy :-)
The .22LR is the most dangerous caliber in the entire world.Seether wrote:

Reason for that? It's the most underestimated. Never a toy
x1 .22 Ruger revolver (great gun btw)
x1 .22 Charter Arms revolver (quite old)
x1 Ruger .45 P90 semi-auto pistol (my first 'real' pistol)
x3 .22 rifles (Marlin and Rugers) all scoped, but nothing fancy
x7 long barrel shotguns of various guages and makes (1 semi auto, one pump, rest are single shot)
x1 12 guage pump riot shotgun
x1 bb gun (moderate velocity, but forget the actual stats) with scope.
x1 slingshot (sounds dumb, but fun if you can hit stuff with it)
