I've seen it to once to. Could it be... a bug? In BF2? Nah!
Someone in the squad probably had the 'cannot leave squad' glitch. Happens in the servers sometimes and it sucks ASS! Personal experience here. You're stuck in a squad, you can't spawn on the squad leader, it's like being a lone wolf but you're in a squad... yet you can't really do anything in the same function unless they're around you, it's kind of ghey.

that only seems to happen on 24/7 warlord speedygameservers... is that the server you were on?

You Can spawn on the squad leader. I have done it and I have had someone spawn on me.

HAppens when a squad member leaves the squad to change teams then they get pushed right back and another guy joins the squad for that split second where there is an open space. Then the guy that tried to switch cannot leave the squad, the 'no leaving squad' is the bug, the 7/6 thing is just a wormhole in codes where they didn't bother setting a no re-entry code.

No, it happened to me in Karkand, but that was a while ago.....

I have seen that many times but i thing everything works well its just better whit more people in the squad.
7/6 makes an effective kill team, if only it could be replicated on a regular basis...

happended to me on karkand earlier..
i dont get what made them choose 6 for a squad maximum?? lol would be good if you could have 10 people in your squad i can see definite pwnage there
