Yes accounts are not connected to the CD key (as far as i know). And I have played my account on other peoples computers as they have played there account on my computer. Also I have had friends who dont own BF2 but have created there own accounts on mine and friends computers and they all work fine.
Is it possible to have both accounts playing similtaniously?
x2 ( you can create as many accounts you want with same CD key. But...... YOU can not be in same server as the other account ( basically no same CD key in same server )tupla_s wrote:

So if I lend my cd key to a friend and he gets banned, do i get banned?
I dont get it do you want to just make 2 accounts?? Or do you want to run the game on 2 different computers from the same cd's? Accounts are not linked to the CD key so it doesnt matter what the hell happens to another account. But if you run the game with the same CD key on two different coputers you cant join the same servers.
