Well I can attest its not OUR connection on this one. As I own servers and they crash about every 5-7 hrs. Read the fixes in the 1.3 patch:
* Fixed Issues with remote console and Linux servers.
* Fixed the crash that sometimes occurred when switching between game types.
And here was their fix...
After a thorough investigation into the issues plaguing the server browser after the 1.3 Update, we believe that a last minute update in the way the Battlefield servers and Gamespy servers communicate may be the cause.
We have decided to revert this change in an attempt eliminate these browser issues. Please note that no uninstalling or re-installing is required by players or server admins. All servers currently running must be restarted once this change has taken place.
Please also note that if you are experiencing CTD issues upon start up that any alternate-ranking redirections in your windows "Hosts" file must be removed.

The teams here at DICE and at EA want to take a moment to acknowledge that we are aware of the issues that some are experiencing with the latest release.
We are continuing our work to review and find potential solutions to the problems affecting many players and server admins. We are also reviewing recent changes to servers and gameplay.
While we continue our work internally we want to remind everyone to keep using the EA forums to provide feedback. We review the comments in these and other forums regularly while we consider the direction of Battlefield.
We also want to assure to the mod community that we understand the difficulties you have worked through and we are continuing to look for ways to help everyone and find ways to promote all of the mods and their hard working teams.

ever since 1.3 all the 64 player servers have been crashing alot and some 32 and 16 player servers have but mostly 64 player
i was playing on a server 30-40 ping 2mb internet and server loss about 3 times!!
it's a 1.3 issue ( or is it a feature ? ) and there is nothing we can do at the moment. Write to EA support and complain, but please stop posting about this here.
