pilot kits?

so what do you guys think should there be a pilot kit? i mean really how many pilots sit in a plane in full gear and fly in a little ass cockpit? got my mg36 right next to my thruster? do you think as soon as you jump in an aircraft you should get the pilot kit, nulifying any kit you had before and equiping you with a flight suit and pistol only? and if you jump out your stuck with a pistol until you pick up another kit? this would pretty much force pilots to go infantry to get there expert badges. As of right now pilots can get all there infantry badges way way easier then any infantry.. all they have to do is switch kits and fly..

It would make sense, but cause as many problems as it would fix. Engi is THE jet kit. You can land anywhere, outside the border or not, and fix your jet away from airfields.

why would you need a pilot kit? you already enter the helo/plane WITH a kit. All you need is something to fly.

actually that's a great idea. i know myself that i have gotten many badges (basic, mind you) from being in a tank or helo or plane. having a pilot kit would be a good idea.

Had a similar idea to this a while back....

Its a great idea. Guys who primarily focus on Infantry will NEVER know how they stack up because the stats are so skewed twoards pilots.

THats why I focus on my weapon ranks rather than Kit..... Pilots cant screw that number up.

It would be kool if you could only get in a jet/chopper if you had were the pilot class and the weapons they had were useless and also anyone with any other kit couldnt get in, it would stop wh0ring

One small problem with your theory. Wouldn't you have all the whores just spawn as pilots? Who cares if your main weapon is a pistol when your in a Cobra or J-10? Nobody.

The point is that when you get into a Plane or Helo you BECOME a Pilot. Your Kit changes..... You drop your Landmines, Claymores, M95's, PKMs, and other large bulky weapons and get a FS92, MP5, Couple Granades, and a Knife....

If you Eject from your plane thats what you get to use until you pick up anoter kit

Spawning as a Pilot would Create some pretty useless teams.... lol.....

yes but it would also stop people from spawning with the m95 and just shooting each other in the face till some 1 can take off this is a awsome idea i say piolet kits can only use aircraft and choppers and then only engineers could use tanks

I think a pilot kit would be a good idea.
It should have a PDW of some sort like an mp5 and it should be the only class with a parachute.
I think that would be the smartest choice since it would be stupid to have to use a pilot suit to fly, but certainly if you plan on jumping out in mid-air.
I don't think they'll ever make such a kit since it would take some time to balance a new kit with 7 other kits that have been in the game for 12 months already.
But it would definately be a good idea for a mod, I've seen it done before in Forgotten Hope for bf1942.

I think its a good idea, only downside is that many people dont get shot down once they are in the sky....except me. So the pilot wouldnt have the pleasure of being raped once he hit the ground.
