Do u think it should cause damage to someone if it hits them? i mean its a spear that can penetrate concrete, should cause a little damage.

yeah.. i think it should to, however there are problems . first off, if it did a lot of damage, everyone would carry around a crossbow. second off, how did you get killed by a zipline?
Claymores / Mines, die, and you get zipline kill for it if someone triggers it while you are riding zipline.el capitan wrote:

i have shot someone in the head with crossbow killed them instantly.
No you haven't because crossbow doesn't do any damage, it fires an empty line if you aim it at somebody or goes next to it.diglow~Flow wrote:

actaully, it should be possible tokill with it,I mean it goes fast, at that speed,being hit SHOULD do somedamage.either that or the person coming down 2 seconds later should.

it should defiantly do some damage..taht would hurt getting ziplined in the face

I think the spear should blow straight though someone and stick in the wall leaving them pinned to teh cable. Then when u zip down u can kick them.
if you see a Enemy zipping down the line near you pick line up and he falls to his his death.. Zip kill

I think you should be able to take out choppers with it, and stop cars in their tracks. How cool would that be, watching a tethered chopper freak out & smash into a building?

I also think it'd be real cool if you could send a C4 charge down a zipline & detonate it when it gets to the end.

LOL-well...if everything in BF2 were so realistic, then you would die from bleeding to death, the medics would be pretty much useless, and it would be much harder to snipe, I won't even start on vehicles.
I'm happy with BF2 the way it is...as long as they don't screw it up with even more patches... Oh yeah, and they definetly should give you points if you get a tank/helicopter/plane (etc) to low health and someone else takes it out with one shot:P

If you could impale someone with the zipline bolt, or inflict any damage on people/vehicles....the game would totally change. I'm all for it!
