It isn't one card.  That's the way I see it.  Stacking two of the same card together and taking some of the ports and connectors off of them and screwing them together doesn't in any way make it one card.
READ! "NVIDIA has launched its single-card-dual-GPU product, the GeForce 7950 GX2, today."

That's the first sentence :S
The first sentence is a bit of a misnomer. A technician would really call it single-unit, not single-card, due to its visual similarity to a bologna sandwich.

Well the card is in flight as we speak!! I was so anxious I got it next dayed from newegg.

Hopefully this thing doesn't have the same problems as the 7900 gts and gtxs.

I'll give a review this weekend.

its a sweet card but way to pricey. next year dual GPU will be common place. and cheaper hoepfully.

On a side note i did some review searchs. the card consums 115watts less then (2) 7900GTX's in SLI

the future is good for SLI i think with dual gpu boards next year and later. the tech will progross, the die size will shink and the cards will use less power and still be able to run in SLi without a montrous PSU. a 750 or 850 should be fine to run two of these cards, or future ones

I will confirm when playing at 1600x1200 rez, this card is amazing. So far I havent had any of the well documented problems of the rest of the 7900 series cards.

I seem to have a problem overclcoking my FX60, but the card seems good after about 10hrs of gaming.

The card (s) get very hot, though.

I'm playing on a Sceptre x20III.... and even with SF (hog,) runs pretty f'ing good so far.

Let it be known I don't have FEAR, or any games like that. My main test has been BF2 SF. The benchmarks don't mean shit if you cant play a video game.
