Too easy to kill in SF?

Just got SF finally and the thing that I noticed the most is how easy it is to kill. Do players have any body armor in SF? I mean, I had the stock AT gun and was mowing people down in 3 shots. With my G3, 2 shot body kills. I'm not sure if it was just my aiming, but I've never killed anything that easy. I ended my first round ever, about 10-15 minutes of play time, on Warlord with 21 kills, 5 deaths w/ 49 points.

So, is it easier to kill people is SF or something?

Sorta, I enjoy Special Forces myself, just to have the close quarter fights and all... I REALLY enjoy The Iron Gator though, that map's my most favorite among all the SF maps.

But to answer your question, it could be, I really don't know.

Seems to be. I mean, I set the AT gun to one shot and at probably 50-100m I was taking guys down. Kinda weird if you ask me. Thankfully I got my unlocks, so I'll be tearing some ass up in sniper and spec now.

You'll probably notice its easier because you actually get a chance to shoot at other infantry, rather then lining up a shot only to get disintegrated by a tank.

Not saying that wont happen, but it seems to happen a lot less in SF then vanilla.

My guns seem to be more effective in SF, that's why I only play vanilla for air combat these days

I'll tell you what doesn't seem so effective at times. The shotguns like the jackhammer or the DAO-12, ugh, I've took those guns to Iron Gator so many times with me whenever the Hangar Bay, Fore and Mess Hall have been taken from my team, ugh, it's annoying because it takes at least half of the cartridge to take out a single guy LOL, but I get by and it still gets the job done.

YES. The M11 is an awesome shotty!

I do agree with Aardcore though- the DAO does seem a bit weaker in this patch... then again I haven't used it in a while.

for me its definetly the "closer combat" that really makes it easier to kill people, and also, the fact that you actually find the people a lot easier...

Yeah, maybe that's it. I was playing Warlord, on the SAS side, and we had one flag of the palace, and the insurgents had the other side. They kept spawning there, as did we, and were going at over and over for 20 minutes. I would come around a corner, they'd be running at me, I'd shoot the 2 or 3 times and they'd drop. Bloody easy. Of course, I died my share, I think when I had to leave I was at 30:20 or something.

Both impossible I'm afraid. AT requires at least 6 shots and g3 at least 3. You probably walked into an area with a lot of damaged people.

all i use is RPG and DOA-12, now, RPG is good for infantry ranged, and the shotie is good in between reloads

i find it easier to kill in SF too, not in terms of # of shots, but just in overall easieness. Either i'm just good at SF, or there are a lot of nubs that play SF.

The less air rapage going on probably helps too

That's the exact reason I got SF too, the guns. Fucking EA/Dice making us pay money to use guns. Problem is, is that you can't compete against the L96A1, in terms of sniping.
