So, the rank left changed - now I am Master Sergeant and according to this site, I have only TWO ranks left to get - Sergeant Major and 2nd Lieutenant.
Why??
UBAR lists more ranks - what about Master Gunnery Sergeant? Why did it dissapper? Any idea?

"The major difference between several of the higher ranks is that you get the "higher" rank if you have certain badges. Whichever rank you get, each pair only gives you one unlock."

Yes, the 'next ranks' feature was fixed.

You only have two more ranks left in the current ranking ladder. The two rank levels with two distinct ranks (Master/First Sergeant, and Master Gunnery Sergeant/Sergeant Major) are like forks in the ranking path, you only get to choose one when you reach the global score level required. Since you never got your basic knife badge you went down the path of Master Sergeant therefore nullifying your chances of ever achieving First Sergeant. Since you have all of the required badges for Sergeant Major that is now listed as your next rank. Past that there is only one rank left, 2nd Lieutenant.
