i have been having spike lag problems with the 1.3, with bf2, bf2sf,euro, and armored fury. well i reformatted, tried Evey thing under the sun. today i called ea and they said that they have had some problems with the 1.3 patch. this is what they told me to do. go to my documents remove the bf2 folder to my desktop. go to this link and re download the 1.3. ftp://largedownloads.ea.com
then reinstall the 1.3 patch re log into bf2 . when you are done you can remove the bf2 folder of your desktop, i just deleted it, and it fixed my problem. i was about to give up on this, and throw away bf2 (lol). now i don't know if there is any difference in this 1.3, but i have been saving all my patches from the beginning, and i even tryed the ea down loader. they said where i got the patch it may have been crypt, well it came from ea? now before i reinstalled the 1.3 i alway run enditall to turn everything off that i don't need, so if this works for you ,and you have this problem let me know. maybe slap a karma point on me, I'm tired of having a -1 (lol)
