I've had troubles downloading from the EA Downloader, and searched BitTorrent for it where someone on here said they got it... but nothing comes up? Could someone be there for me to download it please please please please???? I don't really understand torrents

EDIT: my mistake, the one with the embedded serial is the expansion special forces if you downloaded it. I figured the same thing for euro and armored fury but I realized they do not require a serial number to install.

Damn pirates. Arrgh! I want ta try before I buyeee! It doesn't work that way with boosters. I mean come on, it's ten bucks. It's not like if you don't like it, you're flushing 50 bucks down the drain.
So what can I do? My EA Downloader isn't working and I have paid, and have no AF??????

i blew my hd away and reinstalled the whole shit.
now it might not have been worth it just to get EF for me as ive played about 1-2h on it, but AF has been, at least so far much more interesting and im glad i bought it

You rebooted? I have a veryyyyyyyyyy long story of my hard-drive corrupting and having new ones sent and failing again etc. that happened over the past few weeks and I am not up for losing everything again. If you want the whole story of pain and annoyance msn me !!

That's not true. The files in the torrent are exact the same files you download with EA Downloader. The only difference is, that you can't play if you try the one from the torrent and haven't bought it. If you bought it (and registered your BF2 nick on EA's site) you can play either with the files from the Downloader or from the torrent.137[CSi] wrote:

as your ability to play EF and AF is tied to your account name.. not via file or serial number.
erm the torrents are just an installer. theres no emedded key or file at all.. can you imagine how many individual copes there would be on the server?
what a load of tosh.. you can install if from ANY installer.. BUT your in-game name is used to identify with the head server as to weather or not you can play the maps, it's got sod all to do with the client side download
torrent it. it's exactly the same file, just hosted in a .rar usually, if you've bought the fucking thing it doesn't matter where you get the installer..
if you haven't it won't work without you hacking your connection/files/server to make ea think you have

u can use the torrent download, but you cant play it unless you have paid as it checks when u try to play it, on either single player or online!

actually i DID try before i was going to buy( working online no problems) and thats the reason i DIDNT buy EF or AF.

LOL punkbuster will get you sooner or later.
i downloaded AF from torrents only loaded 1 map because was wrong i just another 1.3 crack with it and now all 3 maps works + i can play them online i only use my serial from my orginal bf2 xD
it might be abit late like but do you have internet explorer 7 installed? EA downloader dosn't work with that
Af was on Usenet about 2 days before it was released. I hear there was a crack that allowed single player, but thats only what I hear. http://www.newzbin.com/search/query/p/? … searchFP=p . If you don't know how to use newsgroups don't ask. Stick to amateur methods like P2P ( Torrent,limewire..etc) .
