BF2S Forums How do you guys like Armored Fury?

People who like spoon fed tactics and easily figured out ways of attack and defense will hate AF and it's maps. They are much more complex than most simplemind soldiers will believe. Certainly you can duke it out with the rest of the people head on but with a little tactics and strategy you can really get around the maps and do some damg. Those Recon Heli are the key in a lot of cases. Having them around when clearing out bases is so very important. Offer close air support with their fast guns is also very nice. Moving around flanks in fast moving FAVs is also very important. Roadrage does have one interesting vehicle... look for the red semi rig.

i really like AF its real smooth and nicely polished. great fun maps and the new content is great. definately worth my £7

Dont like it that much, better than EF I might say. BUT AF to me was a waste. I am not a tank or aircraft person, so someone like me that doesnt hide behind metal it isnt for you. BUT on the other hand it is fun to play Road Rage and MIdnight Sun. Harvest is too open and it is good for the Tanks, in which I did rather well but there is no use for infantry. Reminds me of EL Alamein; alot of open spaces.

Road Rage is predictable, they have a freeway with barricades, so an engineer would have fun as hell but didn't see anyone lay mines on the freeway except once. Everyone is tking for the aircrap still which is funny, because the A-10 isn't all that. Midnight sun is dark so its prime for snipers, you actually use all kits with this map, not too bad actually reminds me of dragon valley or Fushe Pass but darker.

So all said and done and couple days playing, its not as good as I thought it would be and actually really depressed; but I can tell all the plane people will love it.
