saw that somewhere else alreday...
i however think that it will not be adopted by us, the people who use them. I'm not poor by far, but 3x1900xt's busts pretty much every budget. even 2x1900xt and a 1600 is way out of reach (hell even a new 1600 for my 1900xt). Also 3xpci-e 16x (or 8x) is not supported yet if you want another pci-e connection somewhere)
We nearly all have dual core processors. they could do this work (i realize that it is not so efficient, but still better than nothing).

Furthermore i guess that the solutions from ATI, nVidia and Ageia will not be compatible. in the end game producers will support the cheapest version, wich will be the PPU add in (even though the current one is crap, imagine what a card at higher clocks and connected via PCI-e 16x would be able to do). So unless the "big 3" can agree on a standard the solutions from ATI and nVidia are bound to die, just due to cost.

i.e.: for physics there will either be support for the second (or 3ed/4th) core to do the physics work or a cheap (I think that 150$ is the absolute max. for an "extreme" edition; 100$ for a normal) add in card that will do the job (wich will have to be connected via a proper bus). Also I think that a ppu just might make its way into being build into motherboards. We'll have to wait and see but i think ATI's pysics will not prevail unless they are able to run it on some really cheap card.
once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot  xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.
