Hello, i searched and couldent really find anything answering my Q, it seems when downloading bf2 AF that the one part it says ender bf2 nick, well i didnt put my in game name, instead my ea downloader name, and that might be the reason why it says i havent bought bf2 AF,

i want to change my nick to my in game name, Can someone answer on how to do this so i can play a game that i paid for ?

In ea downloader, look to the right of the pic, near where the downloading bar was, under the manual linkies. it should say edit battlefield 2 nickname. click it, and it will open up a website. log in ( same password and stuff as u used to log into ea downloader) and click on the downloads info tab in white, (white on blue). then, type in your EXACT EXACT EXACT battlefield 2 ingame name twice (one for each box)(you know, mines LukeIAmNotYourFather) and click ok. if you somehow mess up, you can only change it 3x a week

Maby 'cos you already downloaded it... Klick the one that says "edit battlefield 2 nickname" it should be there somewhere

downloads info tab, the tabs are in blue, the one the page goes to automatically is white, connected to the box the tab goes to....look everywhere on the page if u still cant find it....it should be there.

Enter your password

Click "Downloads Info"

Enter your valid BF2 name and click OK

Yeah, having the same problem. I tried all that. And when I put, "MaximaRX" in, it says the nick is already in use......no shit right? SO I try to log in with my game nick, again MaximaRX, and it says the account doesn't exist. AM I just retarded? When I downloaded EF, I didn't have any problems, even though my ea dl account is different than my BF@ account.....and probably because they say my nick was in use then too. ANy ideas?

You think thats bad. i have it downloaded i can see the maps in the start local Internet tab and when i try to start a map guess what it tells me...yep you guessed right .In order to play armored fury booster pack you need to purchase it etc etc:) would be eternally grateful if someone could help thanks in advance.

If u have two EA Accounts do this

If you receive the error message that your GameSpy ID or Battlefield 2 nickname is already in use, you have connected your ID to a different account.

If the above does not work please try the following:

1. Login to each of your EA Accounts by clicking here.
2. Locate your Battlefield 2 login name by reviewing your accounts.
3. Once the name is found replace it with your email address or another GameSpy ID you own.
4. When the Battlefield 2 name has been removed login to EA Downloader and follow the steps listed above.

You will now be able to successfully apply your Battlefield 2 login name to EA Downloader to have access to your online content.

GOOD NEWS it seems it took like 12h for my download info to show up CHEERS!!!

But now it says in use....So Also i had a 2nd ea downloader account but i lost the password!?!? so am i completly screwed

I think I have 2 accounts but can't remember one and can't get info sent to me on that account because that email is no loner working. any suggestions?
