Hi, I have a few questions on the above...

I want to get a a flat screen monitor but there are many to choose from, I am thinking of buying this one. Is this a good monitor or are there better ones on the market for the same price?

I built my PC myself but I think i have a lot of static in it because I occasionally hear it and some times it is quite loud. Is there a way to remove this static?

What is the average temp a graphics card is supposed to be at? I have a 7800GT and it averages at 50c. Is this about right?

Well I cant help you much with the monitor, Im still a fanboy of CRTs.

But regarding the last two issues.

I dont think it is static. Static will/can ruin alot of components inside your PC. I think by now, if there was static being discharged alot, you would have some damage. And I have never actually seen a PC have this problem.

Yea that is a good temp. Video Card temps are going to be higher, and sometimes alot higher, then CPU. 50c is pretty good.

monitor looks good. yeah 50c for vga card is fine.
