I can log into BF2 and get all the way through to the first spawn point selection screen (in server) but my mouse and keyboard stop working when I join the server.

anybody have any idieas on what is going on here???? I already tried to re-install same issue

saitek gamers kyb and a logitech mouse

please hurry been without the killing fields since Sunday

humm people have had this issue before most people solved it by deleteing and retrieving their account!
no idea why this works but they say it does..

if you reinstalled over the top of the game then try doing the above.. if this still doesnt work make sure you have the latest directX and video drivers..

Yep... but even try to reinstall BF2 by deleting all Game files and your Profile... I sometimes have the issue that BF2 doesnt start... anyhow its always the Files in the Profile Folder that have some errors, so just try it by deleting everything from BF2....

NO, DONT UNINSTALL THE GAME OR DELETE FILES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They are completely clueless, if your dont have 9.0c installed the game willl not even start up.

All you have to due is restore default controls. You must do this before you join a game. you will notice all of your controls,, even "Esc" doesnt work in game. By restoring default controlls you will fix your problem!! You will find it under options controlls.
