i have a 6200 nvidia 512mb-friend told me it was a good card--new patch has made me overclock-the more serious of you lot -can you guide me is it ok -how much can i over clock safely- or what is the best sub £100 card i can get-if any more patches come out or games so i dont have to go out and get another one before the end of the year -thanks for your help guys
is that euros or pounds?
AGP or PCI-E?
agp
pounds-and cheapest place to get it
pounds, so thats 250 aus,for that price maybe a 6600gt
wait....who said it was a good card?
from my experience, a 6200 was never a good card, go return it for a 6600 GT or 6800 LE
can you run bf2 on medium with a 6200 ?
1gig ram p4 3.2
1gig ram p4 3.2
what is the lowest nvidia card required to run bf2 on medium at the moment i can get a 6200 256mb for £40, a 6600 256mb for £70, and a 6800 128mb for £85 all these cards are agp and want to spend as little has possible
i would go for 6800gt, but 6600gt is ok... but reccomend 6800gt and an extra gig of ram will help in bf2philipjip wrote:

the 6800gt isnt the one i can get they seem to have rocketed in price i believe its the ultra, with how much time i have spent on game it would be nice to get rid of low graphic's Ram is next on the list but at the moment think it would be wasted on my 5700le
I've used 'Coolbits' to unlock hidden functions within ForceWare drivers, it enables several new Direct3d and OpenGL configuration tabs and even more tweaking capability from the nVidia taskbar settings panel.
One of these is 'Clock Frequency Settings' select that & click on 'Manual Overclocking' if you then use the 'Detect Optimal Frequencies' button it will overclock yr card (if poss) for you
My 6600GT's Extreme's are running at Core 566Mhz & Memory 1.15 Ghz, which isn't a massive OC coz the Extreme cards are OC'd to start off with - but every little helps, as they say!!
