I'll keep this short. My bf2 disk has a few finger prints and a smudge on it, and I want to clean it. What is the best and safest way to do this?

sandpaper
I breath on it then wipe with my shirt or a kitchen towel.
Not very nice....but funny...not niceusmarine2005 wrote:

Use a soft cloth no water just whip it works for me
Use a soft clean cloth, cotton is good. And clean from the centre to the edge.jord wrote:

Use a coffee filter.
Yeah just give it little wipes with a soft, clean t-shirt is what I do.
Its best if you wipe from the inside out... (from the center to the edge) in straight lines outwords.

I find hammers somewhat useful.
Of course, that's just me.
Oh? Clean you say? Well, hammers don't do that. Although hammers are fun.

If you want clean it off, oil from your skin and all. Get some Rubbing Alchohal and anything you can find to wipe with, like a napkin or a thin cloth. Just dap some on the cloth and wipe, dont need much.
Dont use your cd. Make a mini-image and that way your cd/dvd will last a lot longer.
Put it in the dishwasher, that'll get it clean!

Why do you need it cleaned? If it still works I wouldn't worry...
Pledge and somthing nice and soft.
Because if you leave a CD dirty the dirt will, well sorta stick to the CD, and if left uncleaned it will stick to it permanently and make a it un-readable and completely dead. It may be cleaned off if you catch it before it does major damage to it.k30dxedle wrote:
