Guild Wars headset (the BF2 one doesn't have easy access to mute/volume control) + Sony MDR-V900's. Lots of gear on my head makes me look a bit borgish, but it really doesn't weigh much, nor do the Sony's press the smaller headset (which is pretty much the same as the BF2 one) into my skull.

Medusa 5.1 Headset
Medusa ProGamer
Just ordered a set myself (£39.99 Delivered ), which I think isn't bad considering these are surround sound & the cost of a decent, normal, headset!

I'm surprised that nobody else has got one as they are the "World Cyber Games" official headset!

They seem to have great reviews (10/10) from just about everyone, what are they actually like to use??

Just for info, it's a 5.1 Surround Sound Headset (Front, Center, Rear & Bass speaker each side) & supposed to be the 'mutt's nutt's'

Yeah the problem with those headphones is they cannot truely replicate sound because your ears are still on the side of your head, and the headphones are still on your head. To truely promote surround sound in a videogame relies more on the coding of the actual sound itself instead of the placement of the drivers in the headphones.

I have had regular headphones and I've had surround sound headphones and quite frankly I will never buy gimmick headphones again.

I bought the Sennheiser HD 595's last week, they're the best headphones I've ever owned.  The only con is the price and no mic but, it's worth it.

I have a Sennheisers which are top of the line just below Bose.  Really nice headsets.

Unlike acdc, I have a mic on mine.

What model?

If you're talking about the 150's, 160's headsets etc, those hurt my head after a couple hours of gaming, so I went for the high class headphones, now I forget I'm wearing them.

Not sure which model, but it does squish my ears.
