I got a new Logitech game pad and I can't get it configured properly. I cant get my right analog to be the loo up/down and look right/left. Basically making it the mouse. Anyone know what to do?
quick question... why?
I don't mean to make it sound like a flame, but if you plan on using it to aim then you will be losing out on quite a bit of sensitivity and accuracy that a mouse delivers. If for a chopper, then maybe it may make more sense.
did you install the logitech drivers from the site?

heh, I never thought about using my logitech gamepad for flying, I hate the Mouse/Keyboard combo for flying so much, but yeah, if you're planning on using the gamepad for regular shooting and aiming... Don't, the mouse is far more accurate that anything else.
yeah man i use my gamepad for helo's and planes its alot easier then mouse/kb
but i wouldnt recommend using a game pad for infantry
1 theres not enough buttons
2 your mouse is hell of alot more sensitive for aiming
3 im pretty sure that you cannot change your mouse to the right analog stick

I´m still looking for years after a tool allow using the mouse steering with gamepad:
few time ago I found it: JoytoKey 3.7.9
You can try to get it on this page: hxxp://search.vector.co.jp/search?query=joytokey (or I email it to you)
Its a ingenious tool but keep the last comments in mind.
