I was one of the unlucky ones who had to make a new account because the game quit recognizing my old one. I used the same nick (maybe not wise in retrospect). I have no troubles playing now and my new nick updates on the browser just fine. But on this website if I type in my nick my old account shows up. Not sure what to do since I already deleted it weeks ago. It's nothing major since my gameplay is unaffected but it would be fun to type it in here since I read the forums daily.
Even though you deleted the login, it only happened on Gamespy's side. EA's stats server still has your old account.
You'll have to start using your PID number for your stats, because there are duplicate names.
