I did like special forces from when I got it(I was getting my ass kicked all over the place on vanilla by the tanks and planes and crap) so i decided I would just play special forces for awhile till I can get better. I had this one server I always went to(HBD 24/7 ghost town) and it was really fun. Then I stopped playing special forces and all of a sudden that server was shut down and then I didn't feel like playing it.
Besides I have gotten much better at BF2 and i'll probably get my veteran badges for everything then I will play SF again to get those specialist badges(probably will be 40 servers when I go back to it).

I don't agree with most people in this thread - I LOVE SF!!! since I downloaded it, I almost haven't played vanilla at all.. only if my friends are gathered for a game or two.. I liked the new weapons, I like the batter stamina, I like the lack of planes and in particular I like the maps! I think warlord/gator excels karky/shargi..

SF has great weapons, and even better maps, that require way more tactics than the vanilla maps like Kubra Dam.
lol - I bought SF at the same time as I bought BF2, and I had so much more fun on SF, that I just pretty much only played it, instead of alternating to normal.

I regret it that SF isn't played that much.
I love SF. Warlord is much better than Karkand, because not all flags can be armor whored.
Night Vision rocks. I'm starting to like the night maps more and more, mainly because i'm getting way better at them. And offcourse Ghost Town. The Mastuur City of SF. It is a fricking Anti-Air paradise. 29 kills per round never moving more than 100m per round.

No, the maps are for me.
Iron Gator is a waste of time unless you've got a decent teamworking MEC but the rest are good. And there's not the normal hassle of getting the USMC to the battle from a carrier. Warlord is a good map, but theres also Mass Destruction, Surge and Leviathan which are really good and IMO are underrated by most players.

I think teamwork is underrated and ignored by most players. Many players just want to get points, badges, ribbons etc.Jainus wrote:

There aren't enough VOIP servers on SF, and if I finally find one, no one uses it. It's really annoying, I wish someone could teach those people how to play....I've even found servers, where the text chat is completely ignored. How could they be so ignorant?
true...true... it s a shame but then again its supported in vailla more then enough.. ad besides the unlocks..sf suc*ed ass ayway...

I love SF servers. Especially any server (sf or regualr) that has VOiP. VOiP is god's gift to games like this.

I got tired of vanilla. I've been playing tons of SF the last few weeks. I like that I'm not limited to wherever streets and stairs can take me.

They should have made SF a booster pack because warlord,ghost town and surge poon the vanialla bf2 maps .Its a miles better game and even the night maps rock the shit out of the shit maps like wake and fushe pass.

I'd play it, but I got it right as my wife and I split, so I have negative associations with it...I know that sounds lame, 7 months later, but every time I play SF, I get really, profoundly depressed...it's about the only thing left from my marriage that can do that...

i love the maps, but because my computer sucks so much, I prefer 24/7 single-map servers, and there aren't many 24/7 SF servers, so I usually stick to vanilla. I want a 24/7 devil's perch.
