I will get it, its only €10 and AF is tested (and the patch that comes with it) a bit better then just a regular patch.

there seems to be no point in buying it if the server crashing bug isn't fixed... since 1.3 came out i can count on one hand the number of rounds i've played without experiencing a server crash. unless server admins stick the af maps first in the server's rotation we probably won't see them.
