UK Hardware vendors

Does anyone know of a reasonably cheap place to buy hardware, that still doesn't skimp on the customer service. I've been looking around, but don't want to buy parts that are faulty and end up with no support. On the other hand, I also don't want to be paying more than I have to.
UK based I should say.

Depends on what you're after really, I tend to shop around a lot.

I've used EBuyer quite a bit http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/home/ & haven't had any prob's with them & Overclockers UK http://www.overclockers.co.uk/ tend to have a lot of the 'good stuff' - both aren't bad for price & service!!

I also use a search engine for computer bits called PC Index http://www.pcindex.co.uk/ which will allow you to compare prices from several different sellers & the usual search engines like Kelkoo http://www.kelkoo.co.uk/

Try www.techfever.co.uk has good prices and delivery is cheap too.
but like the others i also use www.dabs.com and www.overclockers.co.uk
have done price checks on them and for somethings one beats the others but on other things its the other way round.
Next day delivery from techfever and overclockers, cheaper at techfever though, and dependent on weight. overclockers is £10 even if you only buy a small item

aria.co.uk aren't the quickest when it comes to returns (1 month downtime due to a faulty PSU for example) but http://www.cclonline.com have been absolutely flawless for me.

A combination of the ones mentioned above should see you right though, CCL usually get my cash but I'll use the others if the price is right

i normally use dabs.com and Ive had no trouble except spam in my in-box, this turns out to be alright cos it shows me some nice deals

Anyway, to what another poster mentioned ebuyer prob offer the best prices although their customer service has always been a bit flaky. However, they've had the dti or somesuch breathing down their necks a few times so they have improved.
