- Why Mashtuur is better than Karkand:
Mashtuur Is a great map when there are people that can DEFEND. I find it hard to get a flag just to have it taken away in 2 seconds. Ive been in many rounds where the game ends in 5 minutes because everyone just goes for the Mosque and gets surrounded and dies...wheres the teamwork??

well, hell, if everyone loves mashtuur so much, just today OGG, Old Goat Gamers, my clan, started a 24/7 Mashtuur ranked bf2 server at 70.85.223.204 .... check us out at WWW.OldGoatGamers.com for more info on the server and TS info to get on and frag with us.
Maybe if I could get more then 30 points regularly on a 64 man Matshuur... it would be better, but Mat usually puts out less points/round then Kark.
I prefer Mashtuur too. Karkand, especially at the beginning, is a whole lotta grenade spamming and spawn killing. Mashtuur's size generally allows for a lot less BS and a lot more varied Gameplay. Though, like Boots said, you can get a lot more points on Karkand, if that's what matters to you.
I like Mashtuur, but i think that Sharqi is the best map, it just seems like so much more of an infantry map to me, but i dunno

Mashtuur is an ok infrantry map, but its a little too slow for me, always running to and from flags.

I like SF, screw vanilla , I'll get back to it after I'm tired of SF & all the boosters.
As for Mashtuur being better than Karkand it all depends on what you like in a map, Dragon Valley was my favorite vanilla map.

Never really liked this map, at the start the US take the MEC flags, the MEC take the US flags, then everybody runs around in circles...Sharqui is my favourite vanilla map, Ghost Town in SF.
i 100% agree with talon mash is a awesome map. it pisses me off to see Wake/karkand every single server when theres maps like mash being neglected
yeah, we do run the anti-swearing-auto-kicker (long word...). but we are an adult clan, all mature, and we feel that respect is an important part of having fun. So, no griefers, no whiners, no cheaters, no haters, no assholes basically. Mash is a great change of pace when you have to take a break from karkand. a sniper haven, close quarters, great strategy map....who could ask for more. but when i really got a hankering for some noob kills theres nothing like running around karkand and knifing all the people who think they have a good hiding spot!!!! and i really need sf so i can have the 96a1 already!!!!!!!!!!!
Nice comparison, I always like Mashtuur but never really played it as much. Gives me the urge to start playing only that server now, especially since there isn't an epxloit that let's you enter buildings there.

I like both, but as stated before in Mashtuur the tickets 'leak' away when one side has the majority in points, so you can't make so much points like in Karkand or Sharqui.

Support and medic classes only ones worth using/other classes are viable as well as those two

Very linear map/360 degree apporachable map
There should be lots more infantry maps though, since they only made 1 class really effective against vehicles and 2 others that usually die trying.. (better than just dieing though)
