'CD-key invalid' please help !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a copy of battlefield 2 on disk, today i downloaded battlefield 2: Special Forces from EA using EA Downloader. This did NOT give me a cd-key, i also patched the game to 1.3 using EA downloader. I can get on the game but when i click on a server i get this message -- 'Your cd-key installed with the Battlefield 2: Special Forces expansion is not valid, to purchase a real copy of Battlefield 2: Special Forces press the button below' I DID buy this game it is not downloaded from some random site, i payed 20 quid for it and would like it work!!!
Can anyone help me? Any ideas at all pls

So did i :S i'm thinkin i'm gonna have 2 phone up EA, does anyone know the phone number for the support line, the only 1 i've got on my bat2 case is for cheats and hints

The only e-mail i got apart from conformation of billing was saying 'Thank you for registering Battlefield2: Special Forces.' no cd key

ow wait, a friend of mine got it too with normal bf2 a few months ago, but he thought that someone with a illegal version got by accident his cd-key with a keygen... hope its not true, good luck anyway
hope u can play soon again... and if not --> BF2142 is on his way to earth

Go onto the EA Down-loader. I know, I know it's a spy-ware spamfest, but you can always uninstall it once you're done. The EA Down loader will show you what you've bought and what what's been downloaded. Try downloading SF from the Down loader again and it should be fine. There is no CD key, as it's registered to your EA Login and password, combined with your BF2 account.

If it still doesn't work, then you have a problem that only EA can solve.

Problem - CDkeycheck.exe error when installing/playing
Cause - bad File
Fix - Download this http://files.ea.com/downloads/eacore/BF2SFRegFix.zip and make sure EADownloader isn't open, then re-install BF2/SF with the latest patch.
