EF > server and patch 1.3 ?

everytime when i want connect to EF server after loading/verifiing and clicking JOIN im back in main server page with this

"This server allows original and unmodified game ... etc."

i havent any mods, only patch 1.3

what i have to do to play EF? (sure i have buyed via EA)

try reinstalling patch or uninstall bf2 and install complete not just patch

i reinstalled game yesterday and applied FULL patch 1.3 not incremental from 1.2x as before

and other 1.3 BF servers are ok... im lost

I have the exact same error. I purchased EF when it was released, but havenmt played it as yet. After completing a format yesterday. I decided to play EF today. installed BF2, and uero forces, patched to 1.3. Then installed EAD, and grabbed EF again. upon looking for a map, I got the same as kriznik.
On 2 server's too. one playing the great wall, and the other was smokescreen.

Is this yet another bug? caused by the 1.3 patch maybe?

Anyone else have this, as I would like to give EF a go

Same prob... EF doesnt seem to have been affected by the patch. I've had EF installed and wroking since it came out. Gonna try repatching.

Re-patch worked a treat. Didnt give enough thought to it really needing to patch, as it rely's heavily on BF2. But yep, Great idea that worked.

Same problem here as well.... I have BF2 installed and did the full patch to 1.3 BEFORE installing EF. Still no dice. Or, maybe I have been staring down my sniper scope too much and am missing the point here.

....Oh, repatch again I guess?

i had the same problems. the only procedure wich works is reinstall BF2.
reinstall will be faster than repatch. ; )

Okay, I simply reapplied the full 1.3 patch to my existing install and all is okay now. Thanks for the tips all! :-)
