I spent over 1k on a new flight stick.

Configuring it and setting it all up is too daunting and so I didn't really enjoy it.

Upgraded my mac os and I'm in a malware blocked loop for an app and if this was Windows I could just say let it go but Apple is stupid so I can't do that.
Github saved me with some commands to run. Still stupid on the mac side

I downloaded the WhatNot app after seeing something for sale on the Facebook ad section.

I feel like I stared into the abyss. It is apparently a mix of QVC + Twitch where people auction things?

normally there's a pop-up under the security tab of the main OSX settings. agree, it is very hidden. i have to go to the submenu and approve the officially unapproved developer each and every time just to do something as innocuous as update an audio driver for my soundcard.

and certain apps will require the equivalent of a boot into safe mode and writing them permissions to run. normally any stuff that uses the dashboard or system menus. also a bit onerous, agree, but no different really to applying all the various cracks and quick-fixes necessary to get windows .exe's up and running.

i wanted to buy someone a steam card, only to learn steam did away with cards because scammers or something. missed them by like a hair, as they were being taken down from shelves.

gift cards sucked before, but they suck so much more now. an $8 activation fee, what the actual heck? there was razer gold but you need an actual account and i was reading about how people were having a hard time buying steam wallet codes with it. ugh. maybe i'll just snag something from their wishlist and gift directly.
