viviane sassen has some cool stuff. it blows my mind the attention a random array of inanimate objects in a photo can get, in a good way.
(obviously i don't compare), my best-received in college was of random junk on the side of the road while i was panicking on a near-late city photography project. it ended up in the put in the hallway by the program boss, in frame, taunting me whenever i walked past it in all its inauthentic unintentionality.
i'd forgotten about it until now.
