I bet Trump is about to start bombing Iranian oil facilities, he's already bombing bridges.
Then Iran will bomb gulf oil facilities.
What then genius?

good essay on the new hyperpolitics.
The 'elite' have an agenda and a plan.

What seems like chaos, incompetence and mixed messaging seen from our side is steady incremental progress along a path seen from theirs.
This goes back well before Thatcher and Reagan.

Burnham seems to have no defined policies, I see no hope there.
Apparently he's already complaining that he needs Starmer to stay in place for three months so he can 'develop a plan', exactly what Starmer has supposedly been doing for the last two years with no output.
Glad I'm not paying tax into this disaster.
Two weeks in Burnham has decided to ... go on holiday.
When he gets back he's going to go on a 'listening tour' of the UK to 'find out what people want'

16 years in opposition agitating to be PM, two weeks in - he's got not a single idea, or even barely a plan for an idea.

Very like the expensive executives who get appointed then "Uh yeah, I'm going to need an executive assistant and to hire some consultants"

fairly foreseeable, he spent his formative years in the same new labour incubator as every other faceless blue labour blairite. any tokenistic gestures he makes towards popular or progressive reforms will just be small sops, the whole point of the starmer project was to reconsolidate labour around an ‘electable’ platform in the wake of corbyn’s left-wing brand of politics (ironically by securing much less of the overall vote, but that’s our antique system for you …).

i have very little hope for burnham. i also don’t like that he can’t even put on a tie for serious occasions. we don’t need a british john fetterman. we get it, you’re a trendy northerner. you’re meeting a foreign leader, change out of your fucking t-shirt.

Clear he will do nothing of value, Starmer had two years, I think the public is going to be even less patient this time.
Its going to be painful seeing the foot in mouth populist drivel he comes out with.

Everyone gets a weekend in Blackpool?

Then what?
Seems like Britain is stuffed.

Pretty wild that Hunter Biden now seems like the grown-up in the room.

Also wild that Trump was OK with Rubio and a few others getting shot down on the decoy Air Force 1.

Also if Iran is defeated why does Trump need air defence to play golf?

hunter biden is great value for money as a public personality. from manic crackhead to establishment gadfly.

watching him takedown ethnonationalist shitheel groyper trash is surprisingly fun sport.

maybe your toxic racist ideology isn't so sharp after all when a person who spent 25 years combing motel room carpets for leftover nuggets to smoke effortlessly outmaneuvres you.
