Marathon running and run clubs are so white coded that I don't critize the concept because I don't want to hurt the feelings of white millennial allies.
I noticed a lot of chubby girls eventually get into marathon running. Which brings me to my next point: something is chemically wrong with our food that is unlike other countries.

this frequently comes up in editorials. i could go on at length about how unhealthy american food and the american lifestyle and work/life ratio, cOsT oF LIvInG are. a holistic poison. supermarkets are packed to the brim with garbage, a few 'healthy' options packed with added garbage. an apple a day and all that, but the apples not packed with dubious chemicals cost three times as much. you're also familiar with not having the time or energy to manage healthy cooking iirc. pop something in the micro! make sure to get a bunch of stuff leeching in from the very container. adds flavor!

Our food being loaded with shit is one thing RFK was right about but it still comes down to balancing calories in calories out along with some exercise even if that is only walking a couple miles a day.

I bought 30 eggs for $18 at the farmers market on saturday. Previously I bought a dozen eggs at Ralph's for $13.
The prices at the farmers markets here are pretty much in line with grocery store prices with the exception of meat. Maybe it's bc I live in a HCOL area but maybe you guys sound like out of touch boomers tbh

We all live in very different parts of the country. California is full of Asians. Northeast not really outside of the major cities.
I was using the DICE app to look for EDM shows in the Philadelphia area. In the NYC area we have tons of shows. Especially in Brooklyn ❤️ and Manhattan. A lot of "DJ nights" too. Meanwhile in Philadelphia it is all country and folk country.
I know that run clubs being white people stuff is real but I am just trying to be kinder to the aging NYC millennial whites I like to listen to EDM and vape with.
I was at a major suit and tie political event a little while ago with my older liberal Jewish, very Jewish, friend. There was this teenager there as part of the young Democrats (indoctrination) group. The three of us chatted and the teen starts talking about stopping Israel's Gaza genocide. My liberal Jewish literally protested Israel. So he backs up the kid's views. They both look at me and ask me what I think of Israel and I was only able to squeak out a "I am just trying to be supportive of my Jewish friends." The kid says he is Jewish and ask me what I really think and I meekly say to this teenager "I am just trying to be supportive of my Jewish friends."
I can go in front of a crowd of 200 people and talk shit without breaking a sweat. But the idea of offending Jewish people turns me into a panicked Arab.

RTHKI, I agree with some of the RFK ideas too. We all should avoid dyes and sugars. Corn syrup belongs in cars and biofuel plants.
It would have been dope if Trump had hired a wacky Energy secretary. We would get the typical Republican craziness but also something fringe cool like installing windmills in our bathrooms.
