Glad I refused a work trip to the US on three days notice. We sent the brazilian guy who managed to not get arrested or shot in the face so it worked out well in the end.

reminds me of the giant 'cosplay' or 'airsoft' stores in akihabara, tokyo, where there's backrooms for trusted regulars full of nazi/imperial japanese memorabilia. can buy genuine articles in these kinds of smutty stores. deeply weird. lots of european tourists quietly shuffling in and out of them, too.
