28 Years Later - It was OK I guess.

Something-something birth, death, rebirth, steady slide into grinding idiocracy and perpetual conflict.
Also Brexit I guess.

Edit: Apparently weirdos at the end were a Jimmy Savile reference, the concept being what if the world ended before Savile was found out.
Interested to see where this is going.

28 Years Later: 8ish out of 10.

That ending was a strange tone shift. From what I understand the sequel coming out this fall is supposed to be seen as one long film and and the ending will make more sense.

I wasn't going to see Superman because I am not patriotic. Then I heard he was WOKE on social media. So I guess I am invested in it doing well. I am too terminally online. I want to go back to work.

as to the comic above: or … don't watch the movie because comic book movies are arguably shovelware and you already know what happens. pre 1st state emotion. no horses in race.

The movie is wild and consistently defied expectations.
