I might break up with my girlfriend. Which might be in her best interest knowing what you know.
But still...she is in the process of buying a house in Pennsylvania. On the border of PA and NJ. Only 15 minutes further from where she is now in NJ. But I don't want to make the longer trip into PA. I don't want to participate in Pennsylvania events and culture at all. The whole idea of going west into PA instead of east into the city is preposterous.
I rather deal with people trying to steal my mail than take a pay cut and live in a more conservative area. I rather live around refugees and the lumpenproletariat. Reign in hell etc.

not wanting to live in the same area/move in the same direction (geographically as much as figuratively) is a pretty normal, Adult reason to end a relationship.
have you not communicated about this? property and money talk should be pretty foregrounded if you're intending to be with someone for the long haul. for instance, in my current situation, we made it clear that apartment living in the centre of a metropolis wouldn't be 'forever', but certainly suits us for the next major chapter in our lives.
what are we talking about here? moving out to the rural boonies and getting a few acres to have kids bouncing around and an alfalfa patch, or literally being 15 minutes over a state line?

The short of it is that she is her elderly mom's caretaker. The house she lives is in her mother's name. She has an older brother who her mother shows favor. She believes her mother will leave the house they live in for the brother and his wife. So at least if she buys the house and continues to her mom's caretaker she is building her equity instead of putting equity into her brothers future house.
The fact that she is both taking care of the mother and written out of the will is absolute bullshit but I guess this is her culture where they bully women into nonsense like this. I understand that I have a very transactional mindset but it still seems wrong to do that to her.
Anyway she is just going to replicate her lifestyle 15 minutes further away. Stupid. But she is an adult and has to make her choice about all of this.

if you've both genuinely decided you don't want children together, and this isn't just some attitudinal thing or a symptom of you being a kid in a candy-store with dating apps, then it makes sense that you'd be looking to pool your resources and move closer into the centre of things, not further away. live a nice hipster-boujie lifestyle with all your disposable income. if you don't have kids, you will get lonely in the suburbs surrounded by abusive alcoholics and misanthropes out of a carver novel.

One reason I am so hoping my girlfriend has her own place and not with the mom is because I can't hang out with her in my hometown anymore.
I have girls and opps in the same neighborhood.
The Guatemalan with a boyfriend lives 6 blocks to my South. The soldiers wife lives two blocks to the north. I have hooked up with them both since they have been in relationships.
I was parked in front of my place a few months ago with the soldiers wife. When we got out of the car to go into my place, the Guatemalan girl was walking by and saw us and didn't say anything.
I took the Guatemalan girl to get a slice of pizza at the pizza place across the street from my place a week ago. I see the soldiers wife walking across the street near my apartment while on a pizza date.
I randomly walked by the soldiers wife again a week ago. I drove to pick her up last night. We reconnected through...Tik Tok.
I could probably have hooked up with her today, tomorrow or Friday. But I have professional responsibilities that would be hard to get out of.

It is such a pain in the ass to visit the city. Especially in the winter. Driving into it is hard and expensive. Taking public transportation...no.
That said it is frankly stunning how many baddies you see in Manhattan. You could tell you live in the suburbs or whatever it is I live in when you don't see baddies as much.
