Hard for me to half-ass anything, but i have a meeting tomorrow morning with HR to "go over next steps". Fully expecting to be fired.

Already have 2 first round interviews set up for next week. Not going to stay any longer than I have to, and I'm sure the feeling is mutual.

We aren't unionized.

Also I got let go. Not working is so fucking nice. At some point I'm going to get another job but for now it's really nice being able to live life. I get to cook, golf, read, hike, etc more than normal.

Really distills the idea of working to live and reignites my desire to retire within the next 10-15 years.

Not too sure why I'm still working really.
Mostly its to get out of the house, and barring global meltdown each day worked should buy two in retirement so I'm ahead three days, sort of....

I'm confident your direct and indirect flatulence is worse for the planet than my short commute to a jobsite which is 100% solar powered.

also, going out on a limb here buddy, but i'm pretty sure 'buying electric car to take solo journeys just for the sake of getting out the house' is still more environmentally wasteful than 'walks or cycles everywhere, or uses an electric subway system with 7 million other daily riders'. just a hunch, though. i don't need to dig any lithium or rare earth minerals out of the ground to walk to the cafe and work.
