Those plays are banned. Sorry Shakespeare
If you wanna bluescreen Texas conservative minds, ask if a girl would be allowed to play Dr. Frank-N-Furter in a high school Rocky Horror production.Cybargs wrote:

A gay senate staffer filmed a video of him getting pounded from behind raw while in the senate meeting room. It was the posted to a social media group for gay men in D.C.
He was fired of course but probably has a bright future in gay porn.

Thats a thing in the Australian parliament too.

Democrats are probably as wrong about transgender stuff as Republicans are about abortion.
Maybe we should abort both then
that's vague.SuperJail Warden wrote:

i don't think democrats are united on it. cries of cancel culture from within when a democrat speaks out against transgender stuff and gets blasted for it. if dems express too much idealist support for progressive trans stuff, votes will shift red where they compete for them.
"i don't want my daughters run over on a playing field by men" -a democrat, paraphrased

reads like a jk rowling tweet. i have to wonder how many of these people actually watch women's sports, even if it's just to transvestigate some human bulldozer. maybe average doughy men just don't want to wrap their heads around how easily they'd get hospitalized by a woman in the upper 90th percentile of athleticism.
without pointing out which opinions those are puts that on shaky ground, morally. there are american voters who hold rather violent opinions about transgender people, and those thoughts probably shouldn't be validated too much. The Extreme Left! lolwe shame and belittle too many opinions held by too many voters and that needs to stop
"but we just want reasonable legislation!" huh. it's not about protecting kids. it's about controlling people. whenever one of the minority of trans people expresses regret and gets paraded on some interview. "see? it's all bupkis! we shouldn't allow it!" -a bunch of hypocrites who say they don't like the government telling them what to do (and think more guns in schools is a great idea).
dumbest boogeyman of the modern age when there are any number of kryptids to choose from. "if you aren't good, the biomen will come and drag you away to dei!" eyes rolling.

The complaints about trans in women sports and the Muslim rape gangs or whatever is so annoying and disingenuous coming from dudes. It makes me roll my eyes when I hear that stuff from men because truth be told no one really gives a shit about women. Guys trade stories about things they have done to women. We all know the trans and Muslim stuff has nothing to do with the plight of women.
...
I do know some people who should be Democrat voters who voted for Trump based on this LGBT stuff. My girlfriend's best friend is an immigrant from Taiwan. She voted for Trump because she didn't like how her kid's school had a LGBT club and other stuff there. She didn't want her kid influenced into that culture along with all the baggage that comes with it. I don't think being surrounded by gay stuff will make you gay. But it could influence you into doing things you don't like or will regret.

expanding on that, there is a constant press of cishet influence wherever you go. we're up to our ears in it. ads, literature, movies, social media, peer and familial pressures. do people never regret doing any of that stuff? all the broken het relationships out there? the domestic violence? tanked finances? entire genres of music feature men lamenting their many exes. women have to watch their drinks like hawks when eating out and have escape plans for dodging pushy men who might go from 'nice guy' to serial killer before you can blink. shouldn't have gone to that singles bar! maybe we should ban chaste kisses between men and women on tv. lurid pda like holding hands? not for america!
wouldn't want people getting influenced, after all.
there's a lot of wrong-mindedness from people who wring their hands about things like lgbtq clubs for students such things are relevant to. as if its mere presence will somehow 'corrupt' students who want nothing to do with it. "a safe place for people to hang out? not on my watch!"
a bit of playground politics any, isn't it? discard your every moral thought and become a bully so the other bullies like you.

A lot of adult women can tell you a story about how they had sex with someone they didn't have feelings or that they regret for some reason. Straight women have these stories.
Some friendless kid gets invited to a LGBT club because they want friends. They eventually have some sexual experiences with a LGBT person because they feel pressure to conform or something. They end up regretting the thing they did to fit in. Parents want to avoid their kid being in that situation.

"people might do things they regret because of gay club!" -mac, who posted extensively about ducking behind shelves to stay out of the sight of his side-girl's soldier husband
Yeah, the word is drowning in straight culture. Straight sex is how you perpetuate the species. That is way more the human default than any other nonsense trads want people to perform.
Her ex husband and her current husband both hate me. Which is a crazy situation for the both of us.unnamednewbie13 wrote:

do you think teenagers aren't doing things they'll regret later in other clubs and cliques? what makes lgbtq club so exceptionally dangerous a resource compared to any other given club full of hormonal teenagers (who, as you're probably aware, predate lgbtq clubs).
blocking something like that based on the hypothetical eventuality of student TBD doing something they'll regret unfolds into stuff like pushing to bar treatment for transgender people because a transperson was still sad afterward, and Fox did a special about it. complete with a strategic crocodile tear shed by the faux-sympathetic host. "next up, new round of bans! which of the following books you may never have heard of, let alone read, should be removed from our school libraries? our guest: a concerned, unlettered non-parent." "thank you for having me, fellow lizardman. i read on facebook somewhere recently that the following titles were woke […]"
i would be more concerned with people wanting to stamp out sex-ed.

LGBT clubs are explicitly about sexual/romantic topics. It is different than any other. Different but not bad of course. I could understand why someone wouldn't want to go to the Catholic after school club.
I am merely giving you the perspective of why an educated family of Asian immigrants voted for Donald Trump. Keep in mind that these are the people who pay the taxes for the school. If we make them pay taxes and then also force them to send their kid to the school, we better reflect their culture. Retrograde or not.

This is an amusing wrinkle to the standard blame immigrants get for America's problems.
2004 all over again. Even the popular vote nonsense.
Wake up when September ends.
Wake up when September ends.
the easiest solution your pearl clutching example and all the many more natural-born American pearl clutchers are overlooking is for students who don't want to be in a gay club to just not join gay club. imagine that.
but, america is no doubt safe with donald trump here to protect us from gay club. lol.
next up, high school drama production of Rent. the gays are defeated, you guys!
i would imagine many students are more influenced by people they follow online than by some school club they're not a part of and the club's members they don't hang out with.
