I don't know if standalone excerpts from someone's google search history is a very good indication of their character, unless there are consistent, creepy trends. I'd be surprised if ken hasn't googled something morbid in the past.
A lot of employee monitoring may be legal but the extent that it is legal still bothers me. One of a myriad examples, who cares if someone hops onto facebook or their private email during break time? Even if it is a company computer, should you really be keylogging their password? Literally business-sanctioned malware. Companies should be transparent with all the spying they've got going on, but not all are.
I feel like this stuff can enable a bit of overreach and harassment from employers. Who wants a bipolar boss dragging them into the office to ask why their company car was at the grocery store after hours or pulled up along the drop-off zone at their kid's school? Like I get it if someone bugs out with the car for a day at the casino and lies about it, but be reasonable.

Speaking of justice...there is one kid I am trying to get bounced from my class and put into the area for behavioral disorders.
I was literally writing a post about him here complaining but the period ended before I could finish finding stock images.
The aide from the next period came in and told me he told my substitute teacher to suck his dick yesterday. And she had to call security for that class too.
The substitute wrote an email and also wrote a note. I filled out some discipline reports and then called the mom. The mom was apologetic. I explained he told another mother to suck his dick. "The substitute is a mother too and she didn't deserve that." That's a good line. The mom wasn't happy with her son.
The student was suspended for insulting the substitute. He also has a discipline report from me in the pipeline. The vice principal is also calling the mom in a few minutes.
Justice has been served. Right in time for Christmas.

OK, so my graphics card was fried. The Cat can take the blame, but more likely blowing the dust out stuffed it.
My new GT 1030 and my 8yr old Samsung monitor don't seem to want to communicate by display port, HDMI seems to work so I guess I'll use that.
I only really got the graphics card as a stopgap to make sure the PC still worked, maybe I'll update the PSU and get a Quadro again and see if that helps. Most likely it won't, DP gave a load of trouble with a previous card when I first got the monitor, it seems problematic overall.
I think I'll buy a new PC in the next 12 months before Win10 goes offline, then this one can become my shed PC and the XP box can finally retire. It can barely do more than play MP4s and run the routing robot as it is.
