Its hilarious that an Indian has whipped up the neo-nazis to support Israel.unnamednewbie13 wrote:

I have yet to hear an intelligent argument which can't be demolished in 1-2 sentences as to why anyone on earth should support Israel.SuperJail Warden wrote:
National Review keeps running articles defending Israel and calling for all sorts of outlandish things to happen for supporters of Palestine.
I think the right wing advocacy for Israel is actually making me and a lot of other Americans more hostile to the country.
"But they're the only democracy in the Middle East"
First its not true, second so what?
I'm doubtful its possible to create a democracy by expelling 700,000 citizens and giving more rights to people who have no connection with the place than people who have lived there for generations.
"But god gave Israel to Moses"
If Sauron created the one ring himself doesn't that make Isildur a thief?
What do the Elves have to say about who rightfully owns Palestine?
"Because holocaust"
The Chinese suffered pretty badly in WW2 at the hands of the Japanese, shouldn't we support their genocide of the Uighurs?
Its only fair that we send shock collars and razor wire to do with as they will.

Big antisemitism rally in D.C. organizers said 290,000 people showed up.
Th AP reported "tens of thousands." Organizers always lie about the size of these protests. What annoyed me was how many people are waving the flags of Israel there. Conservatives told me that you aren't supposed to fly any flag other than the American flag at protest. What is different about this one compared to the others?
That number sounds immediately like a lie. The population of D.C. is only 700,000. 300,000 people sounds logistically impossible.Organizers of a pro-Israel rally at the National Mall in Washington on Tuesday claimed that 290,000 people showed up for the event, making it one of the largest gatherings of Jews in U.S. history at a time when an ongoing war in Gaza has sharply divided public opinion around the world.

I heard the bus drivers didn't want to shuttle them around and walked out, leaving some of them stranded.
That story is shifty too. The bus drivers didn't walk off and while screaming "river to the sea." A bunch called out sick ahead of that job they contracted.
I would be unsurprised if it was all a misunderstanding and they are being melodramatic.
The theatrics of Israel supporters the last 2 months has been exhausting. The war in Gaza is less annoying than the culture war over Gaza.
I have read a lot of comments from what I can only assume are white Jews who say they feel afraid in America for the first time. They say they feel like another Holocaust can happen here now too. Come on. The blacks complain about cops shooting them and having trouble getting a job but they aren't screaming about slavery coming back at any moment. Chill out.

thus, "i heard." doesn't surprise me considering it was reported on msm as i was walking by the tv. those guys will say anything.mac wrote:

i know there's like the fog of war and stuff and like with ukraine, be skeptical of both sides, but the horror stories out of that area are corroborated by more than clips on twitter, ya. and once more, israel-critical != pro-hamas.
Classic emotional manipulation. They're butthurt that they've finally been found out and public opinion has turned against them.SuperJail Warden wrote:

Has happened in pretty well every country in the world throughout history.
How many New York jews use their postal vote to elect the bloodthirsty fascist Netanyahu?
How safe does the average Palestinian feel I wonder?
I don't think anyone has a lot of sympathy TBH.

Now Israel is ordering the Palestinians to leave southern Gaza and 'head for shelters' before the bombing starts there.

Oh no. Rick referenced the thing you aren't supposed to say. Time to ruin his life.
But why haven't you condemned Hamas?
I still prefer "The social media platform formerly known as twitter" to "X"

decent choices. doctors without borders is a particularly good one imo. i think last i checked, palestine is on their front page. speak of psychological support in addition to what people usually think of when it comes to medicine.
check out charity navigator if you're looking for more stuff. maybe there's something for the cats of gaza.

So Israel is so focused on getting the hostages back they've delayed the whole thing a day and bombed another 300 targets - any one of which could have contained hostages.
So far they haven't produced a single piece of evidence of any single bombing target actually having a Hamas person in it.
I'd very much doubt they have the evidence to bomb 300 targets in one day, not at this late stage especially.
Pretty obvious its gratuitous killing of civilians, destruction of civilian infrastructure and terrorisation of the civilian population - all of which are war crimes.

"4,000 dead Palestinian children isn't enough"
Why would a New York jew think this way?
Are we going to find out that Anthony Blinken is a rabid zionist who inflitrated the govt to support Israel?
This sort of thing gives the lie to the idea that diaspora jews are balanced about Israel.

the video made mention of the spike in anti-semitism alongside islamophobia. commentary like your above is dangerously nudging towards "all jews are bad." "look at this one guy, i think that speaks for the Jewish Diaspora." really?
also worth noting that this guy's career spanned more than the obama administration.

Seldowitz told the New York Jewish Week that he went to the cart for a soda when he learned the vendor was Egyptian and brought up tensions in New York surrounding the war between Israel and Hamas, as well as other Gaza terror groups. The vendor then defended Hamas’ Oct. 7 attack on Israel, Seldowitz said. Comments to that effect do not appear in the videos circulating online, which are taken from the direction of the halal cart.
“That sort of set me off and I said certain things that I wish I had not said, that I regret, and that were offensive not just to him but for many other people,” Seldowitz said, adding that the confrontation had only been verbal, with no physical aspect or threats from either side. He denied having any “animus toward Arabs or to Muslims or to Islam.”
One of the food cart’s employees told the local news site Documented that many of the vendor’s customers are Jewish and that the workers had a positive relationship with local community members.
https://www.jta.org/2023/11/22/default/ … halal-cartSeldowitz is heard in one of the videos saying, “If we killed 4,000 Palestinian kids, you know what? It wasn’t enough.” The vendor is heard off-camera asking Seldowitz to leave and generally declining to respond to his taunts.

A significant number of jews inside and outside Israel hold this kind of view.
For one, they hold an annual festival to celebrate the suffering of others and the death of their first born children.
For another they elected probably the most extreme right wing/zionist govt in Israel's history with a clear policy to seize the rest of biblical Israel and expel the Palestinians from it.
Of course not all jews hold this kind of view but it close to a majority.

Apparently he wen back to that cart multiple times over multiple days to abuse the guy, no evidence he supported Hamas, no evidence it was a spur of the moment 'mis-speak'unnamednewbie13 wrote:
