Ad-placement in videos where there aren't good transitions for it are jarring, and once again the ads themselves pose a security risk to viewers. Is that fair? Exposing your PC to malware so that an advertiser can pay its two cents or whatever?
Is free viewing really free viewing if it's ad-supported anyway? You're paying with your time. Imagine "free," ad-supported internet where every so often whatever you're doing is interrupted by a mandatory, uncloseable, unskippable popup. "Free" is misleading.
