BF2S Forums First World Problems

I was sleeping in my girlfriend's living room during Spring Break. Her neighbor's back porch light kept coming on in the middle of the night. The first time the light lit up the room I thought Aliens were there for me.


I wasn't worried about it being police. They would have stormed the place and killed her dog without turning the lights on first.

Stuck in Jury Dury today.  At least my work gives me a paid PTO day for it without deducting from my regular allotment.  Jury Duty in this county sucks though, they have you on-call the whole week and you don’t know when you have to come in until the day before.  You also may even be called back in later that week if you weren’t already assigned to a docket when you came in earlier in the week.  In PG County, you just got your day, showed up and then you were good for 3 years after that.

I know one guy who said he just throws them out when he gets them. The government wisely doesn't follow through with the threat.

Mail gets stolen though and you still have to sort through all the junk mail and paper scams (your taxes are late, send $100 or go to jail!). Send me a text, city. Save the trees.

Just thinking about that the other day. The meme has grown more obnoxious (sites today are unusable), and the marketing has crept into April. By 2060, it will be second Christmas. I say this as there aren't many Star Wars games I haven't already picked up at like -80% on Steam over various May 4 sales, so maybe hypocritical of me to complain.

I don't have Disney+, so am only peripherally aware of all the show spam going on right now. It's a lot of comic book stuff for people to keep up with, but at least it gives people jobs. It's funny that one of the excuses for the old book lore being tossed in the dumpster is that Disney thought it was too convoluted, so instead they create their own convoluted lore. During yesteryear, there was no way Star Wars would be so tacky as to absorb Kyle Katarn from dark forces. Now the guy from Fallen Order is in a show? lmao. It's actually a relief though that they're so uninterested in adapting the Dark Forces series.

To say nothing of the harry potter mess that is the movies.
