It is very troubling the lack of empathy for Russian refugees to the west. We should be rolling out the red carpet for Russians who want out of the country. America could easily take half a million Russian refugees and not notice anything even happened. Russia doesn't have the people to spare.

I advocated before for being welcoming of Russians who wanted out. More human resources for the U.S. and less for Russia.
