How about 4 years, 6 months later...

I don't want to be important anymore. I just want to be left alone.

I want to own a business and support myself.

Theres no such thing as fun anymore.

How about 13 years later…

I am important, to my wife and kids. This is a much more profound “importance” than what I originally meant all those years ago.

Have a lot of money/own a business: I do own a business now and earn a comfortable living. This part of me never changed. 
 
Fun is subjective. With kids I don’t really “go out”. Seems like a lot of my fun is had vicariously through the lifestyle I provide to my family, and my young children’s experiences in life. I do enjoy watching Pokémon runs on YouTube and despite my horrendous history of poor spelling on bf2s, I do enjoy a good game of scrabble against my wife.
