Might dip to 10 degrees F in NYC tomorrow. I am going to run the heat while bundled in a snuggy. The dentist office below me is always heated too. So their warmth rises up to my place too which is nice.

-19 celcius here last night and i was out in it. had a few glasses of mulled wine. needs must.
Western Washington (and it sounds like quite a bit of the US) got freezing rain last night. There's a 1/4 inch of ice on EVERYTHING. All bus/transit routes cancelled. Airports closed.
In a way it's kinda neat, but if you rely on exiting your house for your job, it's kinda not.

The NYC area is flooding right now. Parts of my hometown are under water this moment.
It's supposed to be 78° in SoCal on Christmas. I will be on a beach in Mexico.
