in your fervid little imagination i’m sure. it’s a big scary world out there from your little bungalow in wagga wagga.

global population is expected to peak and decline.

nobody in western countries where the affordability issue is occurring are proposing having 6 kids (except for musk and your bizarre tech bros with their woo science). the birth rate is, as you well know, below the rate of replacement — another prospect that gets your type’s imagination fretting.

being mad at married couples for having financial tax breaks, which comes at no actual cost to you, is just another nonsense argument to emit from your nonce corner.

Someone has to pay for those tax breaks.

Also, I've told you before - the second Wagga is silent.

i already advised you of some much bigger and much more culpable recipients of tax breaks, if that's what you're going to be outraged about this week.

There are tax breaks, various income types can be split.

Nonsense, subsidising families is bad for the planet.

and subsidising the fossil fuels industry isn't? lmao hahahaha.

there's nothing wrong with subsidising married couples and young families, considering, you know, most on average have fewer than 2 children.

or are you seriously advocating the self-extinction of the species? how very bright.

you have a problem with homosexuals/lesbians/trans people, and now you seemingly have a problem with heteronormative couples, too. ever considered that the problem ... might be with you, chap?

Word is the people protesting the drag show in the area had a fair notion of why the power was knocked out?

But at least people get to be molested by the TSA. Country's terrorist-proof thanks to Bush Jr.

During a new conference Sunday afternoon Sheriff Fields announced, the FBI and state authorities have joined the investigation into the Moore County power outages, and a countywide curfew has been issued from 9:00 p.m. to 5 a.m.

He said his deputies are looking into whether there's a link to a drag show Saturday night in Moore County, but there are no immediate connections to the drag show.

Sheriff Fields said as of Sunday, no individual or group has stepped forward to acknowledge responsibility.

"It's a very serious situation," Fields said. "We're living in some challenging times. We're dealing with things we never thought we'd be dealing with."
Well that's one way to put it.

i saw photos of the patriot militias and proud boys who showed up for that event. full camo, masks and balaclavas, many carrying AR-15s.

just love how these tough guy military LARPers decide to flex their brawn to ... shut down shows of men in dresses.

Just a little criminal vandalism is all. Not an act of terror.

Nor I guess is showing up with your hate group to point guns at crossdressers. *shrug*

I have evolved.

A drag show meant to foster a sense of community among Hunterdon Central Regional High School’s LGBTQ+ students has become a point of controversy, with district officials and student organizers defending the show from backlash over whether it was “fair and equitable.”

The drag show was an invitation-only event put on Oct. 27 by the high school P.U.L.S.E (People Understanding Love Serves Everyone) club and it was meant to provide a safe space for students to be themselves, club members said during a recent board of education meeting. But the event has exposed underlying tensions at the school and community it serves.

That sounded like a good time for the kids.

The real danger in American society is drag queens doing karaoke at an all-ages night at the sports bar.

Not the military swiping kids straight out of high school. Or internet radicalization into armed, right-wing militant organizations. Or the plentiful misinformation swamps online telling you vaccines are fake news and wearing a paper mask is giving up freedom. Not the penetration of violence into most aspects of American life and thought, or the unhealthy tabooization of sex. Not the inability to afford basic first world things working a single joe-job while billionaires conduct private space races. Not the adversarial role government and police have taken up against citizenry. None of that at all!

why are under 21s even allowed at a sports bar in the first place?

It's my understanding that these events are dry? Speaking anecdotally, I've been to restaurants as a kid that would serve alcohol to patrons, so what. Plenty of parents drink like a fish at home anyway. Enough booze in the cabinets to poison the entire neighborhood.

but not the same as a sports bar though? idk just bit weird to have an organised 'all ages' event at a bar but thats just me.

I mean they could always ask to use the local church. I'm sure that would go over fantastically. It probably sounds odd because of the word "bar." There are night clubs with all ages events as well.

The student that told me her pronouns was him/his got me a $20 Amazon gift card. Only gift I got so far from a student.

I have seen the light. I am saved.

Isn't it a bit unethical to accept that? Could be seen as a conflict of interest.

It is fine. The kids who bring gifts are almost always doing very well anyway. The mother is also a teacher someplace else too.

Well you've already accepted it. I probably wouldn't have. Maybe use the money to buy something conspicuous for the class. Are pizza parties still allowed or is that punishable by 20 lashes?
