That's true, both of you. I see on /r/Tinder people shoot what I would call "cheesey pick up lines" and it works though I wonder if they are sending hundreds of cheesey pick up lines and eventually one girl bites and they post it.
I actually try to talk to girls about things on their profiles and go from there. I meet up girls from there so I don't think I am doing it all wrong. Oh and Facebook dating is much different than Tinder. Tinder I think it a lot more shallow and based on looks. Facebook dating is more like Match.com in the fact that it encourages you to add information that they can algorithm.

The community for L4D, CSS, TF2 seemed pretty trash back when I was playing, though that's not specifically Steam's fault.

imgur did this stupid thing to the desktop interface where if you scroll down, it detaches the post's title bar and drags it down with you, and then on top of that abruptly resizes it halfway down if the title is too long. Most of the stuff on the site has to be scrolled. I don't remember ever thinking on a website "gee, it would sure be nice if elements would detach and haphazardly follow me wherever I go." This, also on top of occasionally defaulting to that awful, bubbly "beta mode" where you have to sometimes search or refresh to find and revert to the old design.
Although at least it doesn't freeze the page if you aren't logged on.

My work laptop is fucked up in various ways - the mouse driver is fucked to the point often the mouse and the buttons just don't work - this includes the trackpad and keys on the laptop which is a bit unique. When thats not happening all kinds of other things happen, there seems to be some gesture sensitivity built in too.

Seems to happen regularly in the first 30mins of operation then settles down - just in time for the network to crash and throw me out so I have to log in again using the app on my phone to be fully credentialed to use the full network which then denies me access to various servers in random rotation before crashing again.
What a time to be alive.
