This post is kinda n00bish i know just help me resolve it then delete it. And i tried the search function but didnt find anything of use

When i load into my account it puts me straight into a game i dont want to go into. Am i able to stop battlefield 2 from doing this i know the problem just not how to resolve it. Its the play now but i dont see any settings about stopping it. This happened when i first joined battlefield 2 but then it stopped but it wont stop now and it doubles my loading time into battlefield 2 because its finding me a server i dont want.

Sorry for any inconvenience or repeated threads.

are you clicking the icon called somthing like 'play battlefield online'? if so don't and try the plain old battlefield icon.

Yeah, you just need to double click the bf2 icon, not the play bf2 online now icon...

Try searching!

Also try searching for ways to load faster - getting rid of videos, bypassing login screen, etc. If you right click on your desktop BF2 icon and look at 'target' I have modified mine to:

"C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe" +menu 1 +fullscreen 1 +playerName trevoraj +playerPassword passwordhere
